A beautifully designed holiday villa, country & Citadel views, air-conditioning, private pool, interconnecting 2 car garage
A beautifully designed villa finished in a semi rustic style, enjoying wonderful country views and furnished exquisitely with all modern amenities. Located in the heart of rural Gozo, everything is planned at giving the visitor an experience in luxurious comfort in a relaxing atmosphere, so typical in Gozitan village life.
This light-filled property is located in the tiny village of Ghasri. You enter into a large living and dining area giving onto the private pool with country views as a backdrop. The property also enjoys three private terraces, including a roof terrace with 180-degree views.
The property sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms, one of which is situated on the ground floor with an adjacent separate family bathroom. Three other bedrooms occupy the first floor. One is ensuite with a view and the other two bedrooms are served by a separate bathroom.
Air-Conditioning units are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins). Each AC unit consumes around €2.25 per night.
There is a two-car underground garage with private access from the residence.

+Extra bed is a folding bed ideal for persons not weighing more than 70kg
+Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with 2 towels per person – which will be placed on the beds ready for use.
+Maid service is included when you book for 8 nights or more.
+We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay.

Flights to Malta and ferry crossing to our island of Gozo:
Land in Malta International Airport and than ferry crossing to Gozo. We can offer Car Hire and/or Direct Transfers from Airport to property after making the booking by completing our flight arrival and departure details form.
Local amenities:
*Nearest supermarket is 700m from property (7 minute walk)
*Closest restaurant is Brookies Restaurant and Music Bar, 1.3km away from property (14-minute walk)
*Nearest beach is Marsalforn, is 4km from property (10-minute drive)
*Nearest bus stop is 100m from property (Bus No. 308 “Nazzarenu”)
The village is dominated by Ta’ Gurdan (the Gordan) lighthouse which stand at the top of Ġurdan Hill above the village. The famous lighthouse rises 180 metres above sea level and was inaugurated in 1853. Its beam could be seen up to 50 kilometres away. From the hill around the lighthouse there are marvellous 360 degree views of Gozo – well worth the walk up.
From Għasri Village Square, a road leads to the fabulous valley of Wied il-Għasri. The Wied l-Għasri area is marvellous for country walks and cycling, especially in Winter and Spring. The valley opens onto the sea between high cliffs, and the secluded little inlet here is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and diving.
A mandatory fully refundable security deposit will be temporary held from a valid debit/credit card as follows:
€ 200 for up to 6 adults and
€ 400 from 7 adults and up for properties with private pool
This amount is needed to cover for the following:
Any damages (excluding normal tear and wear)
Any missing items from the property
Any excessive noise that can create a nuisance to neighbours.
This amount will be temporary blocked from the card provided when prompted by our automated email system, and released automatically within 3-7 days of checkout. Baron Holiday Homes have 48 hours from checkout to report any damage or missing items to guest in writing.
Please respect your neighbours during holiday with us, may we remind you that any loud noise is not permitted at any time during your stay.
Kindly note that price does not includes Malta Eco Tax, payable by all tourists, including locals from the age of 18 and over; €0.50c per person for each night spent on the Maltese Islands. Capped at a maximum of €5 per person for each continuous stay.

- During the low-season check in and check-out hours are flexible. Contact the agency to discuss possibilities .
- Refund of security deposit to the credit card 24/48h after your departure
- Arrival out of office opening hours: keys will be left in a safety box. The total amount must be paid in advance.

When making a booking with us we can offer either a self check-in with instructions and directions to the property together with a 4-digit security code to access key lock box, or we can offer directions and meet you at property at your arrival at an extra fee of € 25. This paid service is only available for arrivals between 15:00 till 19:00.

Tap water in Malta and Gozo is fit for drinking but for your convience we have added the possiblity to order bottled water which makes it easy to have cold or hot water instantly. Baron Holiday Homes have teamed up with H2only water provider and all properties are equipped with Cold and Hot water dispensers, each 19 litre water container can be purchased at the cost of €6.00.
All orders must be made at least 1 week prior to your arrival, as this service is only provided before arrival. During your stay more bottles can be ordered directly from the provider during weekdays and delivered to your doorstep, or they can be purchased from most local supermarkets.

Overall, the holiday was really good and just what we needed. I would've put higher if it were not for the check-in process which needs some refinement. When we arrived we had received no communications and couldn't enter the Villa as we had not recesee more
Overall, the holiday was really good and just what we needed. I would've put higher if it were not for the check-in process which needs some refinement. When we arrived we had received no communications and couldn't enter the Villa as we had not received the code, the Baron office was closed and we were forced to ask neighboring properties for help. This caused a lot of initial stress to what we hoped would be a relaxing break.
Once these issues were resolved the trip was really good. Gozo is a great island and somewhere we would recommend to anyone looking for a trip away |
